Why do a consultation?

We offer a consultation reguarding your portraits becaues we feel it is important for you to meet your photographer and get a sense of the quality and enjoyment of a photo session with Lawson Photography. 

At the consultation, you can see backgrounds, props, locations and examples of the kinds of portraits that you will receive.  You can choose packages and props along with information that is unique to Lawson Photography such as how you can mix and match packages to come up with the best value for your investment.

We will create quality heirloom portraiture that will be cherished by you and generations to follow.  Lawson Photography will gladly provide you with exact pricing and offers at the time of your consultation. 

We are probably one of the least expensive studios in the area but we think too much of your unique requests and personal photography needs to give you an end all price quote. The Price List page will however, give you a good starting point to estimate the basic investment of your photography session. 

With Lawson Photography you will receive the maximum enjoyment and value for your portrait investment. We will discuss all of our discounts and special offers at the consultation.

Will you take photographs at our home or another place of our choosing?

We are more than happy to come to your home or other appropriate location to photograph your Family, High School Senior or Wedding.  We do not charge an extra fee when we go to local places for a photo shoot. 

We enjoy the challenge and opportunity to use your chosen location for part of all of your photography session.  A pre-portrait consultation is required and Lawson Photography will do a pre-look at the location to adequately prepare for your session.

We have traveled to other states to photograph weddings and special events.  We will certainly do it for your family portraits.  Long distances that are not considered local will require travel expenses.  All Travel fees will be exlained at the consultation.

When is the best time for family portraits?

Because bad things happen to good people, the best answer is that now is the best time for portraits or photographs.  We reccomend that family portraits be made often.  People change, children grow up and sadly loved ones pass away. Contact us today for your free, no obli\gation consultation..

We make portraits that will stir your emotions and bring joy to your heart.

If you are not complety satisfied with your portraits you will pay nothing for your photographs, or you will be offered another session.
